About the Dallas Aquarium
One of the top visitor draws in Dallas, the Dallas World Aquarium is located in downtown in the West End District, about 2 miles from Dr. Flanagin’s office. Not only does the aquarium feature a plethora of intriguing and unique animals, but also serves as a conservatory for threatened and endangered animals. The aquarium’s upper level reproduces the look and feel of the Orinoco rainforest, while the lower half features numerous aquaria full of various sea animals. The DWA places a huge emphasis on education and is actually partnered with the Dallas Public School District. In fact, many of the aquarium’s employees are local high school students.
